Breckan, 4 months old
Thaden 4 years, Kayson 2 years and Breckan 4 monthsWe have had a fun, busy August. Thad and Melody came to visit for a weekend, which was SO much fun!!! They were such good sports and helped with one of Jeremy's State Farm events. We loved having the time with them and the boys had a BLAST!!
We also went to Abilene to spend a day with Ami & Ryan. The boys had a great time playing with Cooper and Mia. They also took us to the Airforce base so the boys could get into a B-1!! It was an awesome experience!!
Jeremy officially opens his State Farm Agency September 1st, so he has been very busy at the office trying to get things situated. The boys and I have been at the office a lot helping him with odds and ins. The boys have a playroom at the office, so they have plenty to do and play with while we are there.
Thaden is getting VERY excited for Preschool to start! He is so curious and wants to learn everything about everything!! I hope he stays that way through school! He asks a lot of questions. His new thing at night is that he wants Jeremy and I to sing him a song that we learned at church when we were little (a hymn), but it can't be a song that he knows or we have sung to him before. We finally had to get a hymnal so we could sing songs that we don't remember all of the words to. You would think that he would forget and we could sing some of the same ones; OH NO....he remembers!!! :) It has been fun for us to "rediscover" some of the songs that we don't sing very often in church anymore.
Kayson is so full of energy and keeps us laughing!!! Last week, he said, "Mommy, when I grow up, I am going to be a MAN!". He was running around outside one night and said, "I'm burning rubber duckies!", instead of burning rubber. Kayson was just talking to Thaden and Thaden was pretending to cry. Kayson said,"Oh dude, are you crying?", like on the Cars movie. He loves to pretend to be different characters, like Diego. He REALLY embraces those characters, too!! He knows way more that we think a 2 year old should know, but he is learning from his curious older brother!! Kayson surprises us with new things daily!! He keeps us on our toes!
Breckan is Mr. Smiley!! He is so sweet and fun. He will smile for almost anyone, as long as he is in his comfort zone. He is already not sure of new places with lots of different people. He is a talker, surprise - surprise! He likes to hear his own voice and likes to be talked to and played with.
